Disclaimer: I purchased this box using the #paperhaul blogger discount
Last week the second box in the new #paperhaul:featured series landed on my doorstep and as always I was eager to find out what goodies would be inside this month! The second talented artist to be featured is Rory J. Murphy who created a selection of items inspired by film noir, showcasing a complete different style from the previous box.
Included in this box are three notecards, a roll of washi tape, two postcards and a 'femme fatale' card, as well as a striking sticker sheet featuring a whole host of unique characters. Similarly to last month there is also a themed notebook, this time with dotted pages and a reversible cover. The majority of this month's items are black and white, reflecting the theme perfectly, but there are also a few simple pops of colour with the notecards and washi tape. My top pick from this month's box would have to be the postcards as I particularly love the style of them, especially with the sleek matte finish.
Overall I'm excited to see something a little different from #paperhaul this month and love that the box has a real cinematic feel to it. So far I'm really enjoying the 'featured' series and I can't wait to find out what November's box will bring!
