Since getting my first ever pair of proper walking boots late last year I've been able to go out on some adventures during the cold winter months. Having brought my trusty camera along with me I thought it might be nice to kick off 2015 with the first in a new 'walks' blogging series, sharing photo diaries of some of the lovely places I visit.
The first place I wanted to share was Bumbles Green near Harlow which I visited back at the beginning of December. The walk is about 6.5 miles and although the description suggests a time of 3 hours it ended up taking around 4 hours to complete due to all of the mud (there was so much mud!). A lot of the route runs through fields but there are also views across London once you reach the top of the hill on the first part of the walk (as shown in second photo above).
You can find out more about this walk including a map and directions on the Essex Walks website.
