I'd like to start off this month's TBR with a little (virtual) celebratory dance as during last month I completed my 2013 reading challenge of 52 books. Okay, terrible dancing over, let's get back to the point...
As you'll see over the next few weeks I did manage to cross several Halloween themed books off the last TBR list ready for this October blogging series. I do however have another one still left to read - Foreverland Is Dead (Tony Bertauski) - and slight change of lineup, swapping Red Riding Hood (Sarah Blakley-Cartwright & David Leslie Johnson) for Amped (Daniel H. Wilson). I also have yet to find time to read Everlost (Neal Shusterman) so I'll be picking that up this month too!
After an unexpected addition to last month's list in the form of Marissa Meyer's Scarlet, the first sequel to Cinder, I once again failed to get around to reading Paper Towns (John Green) but I'm determined that I will find time for it before the end of the year.
Although not Halloween themed, last up for this month is Ender's World which I started reading months ago and then (stupidly) forgot all about. The book is a collection of articles written by various authors covering different aspects of the Ender's Game series. Since I'm really looking forward to seeing how the story translates onto the big screen when the film adaptation is released later this month, I thought now would be a good time to finish the book!
