Month Of Scares - Movie Night Ideas For Under £5

For today's post I've raided my DVD cupboard in search of film suggestions that are both Halloween appropriate and affordable. So, here are my top Halloween movie night picks for £5 and under...

Zombieland (2009) dir. Ruben Fleischer
America is full of zombies and friends are hard to find. Whilst trying to travel home to find his family Coloumbus (Jesse Eisenberg) meets Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) and they form their own family, killing zombies along the way.

Addams Family Values (1993) dir. Barry Sonnenfeld
Wednesday (Christina Ricci) and Pugsley (Jimmy Workman) head off to summer camp, whilst back home Uncle Fester (Christopher Lloyd) has fallen for the new nanny who may or may not be a gold digger.

Final Destination 5 (2011) dir. Steven Quale
In this instalment of the franchise the group survive a suspension-bridge collapse thanks to Sam (Nicholas D'Agosto) but of course are soon hunted down by Death and picked off one by one.

Shaun Of The Dead (2004) dir. Edgar Wright
On the same day that Shaun (Simon Pegg) decides to get his life back together a zombie apocalypse breaks out. Armed with a cricket bat Shaun must gather up his family and friends and lead them to safety.

Scream 4 (2011) dir. Wes Craven
A combination of the original cast from 1996 and some new faces, in this chapter we meet Sidney's (Neve Campbell) teenage cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and Ghostface returns to Woodsboro for revenge.

The Crazies (2010) dir. Breck Eisner
When the water supply of a small town is contaminated the infected residents turn violent. Can David (Timothy Olyphant) the town's Sherrif and his doctor wife (Radha Mitchell) make it out alive?

Seven/Se7en (1995) dir. David Fincher
Veteran detective (Morgan Freeman) must work alongside newbie (Brad Pitt) to hunt down a serial killer who is using the seven deadly sins as inspiration for his crimes.
