For today's post I wanted to share some of the amazing Halloween inspired recipe ideas I've found online but didn't quite have the time to try out. All of the ideas below would be great if you're hosting a Halloween party this year and want to whip up some last minute treats!

1. Candy Corn Cake Wedges (via Allyou)
This one is all about the decoration - bake any sort of cake you like then cut into wedges and decorate with white, yellow and orange icing to look like giant pieces of candy corn.

2. Bewitching Perfectly Poisonous Parfaits (via Frog Prince Paperie)
Layer up vanilla pudding, orange sprinkles and crushed Oreos for this delicious looking treat. To make them even spookier add on a miniature paper witch hat to each spoon before serving.

3. Edible Fake Blood (via Clockwork Lemon)
Very visually effective but also super easy to make this edible fake blood looks great drizzled over a cake will be sure to scare your guests as well as satisfy their sweet tooth's.

4. Monster Munch (via A Pumpkin & A Princess)
This sweet treat made of popcorn and various candy is easy to make and is sure to impress your guests. Make up some cute orange and black cinema-style popcorn boxes to serve at your horror movie marathon.

5. Spooky Fruit (via The Fairy Cook)
For a more healthy Halloween treat why not try these cute Spooky Fruit cups. Basically you treat the orange like you would a pumpkin by cutting off the top, scooping out the insides and using it as a bowl for other fruits. Add on a scary face using a black Sharpie and it looks just like a mini pumpkin!

6. Krispy Pops (via Hot Mama In The City)
Back at the beginning of the month I shared a Martha Stewart Halloween recipe using rice crispies but here's another really simple idea of how to use them.

7. Candy Corn Marshmallow People (via Knead To Cook)
A batch of these adorable little white marshmallow and chocolate treats can be whipped up in no time and will look great at any Halloween party!

8. Candy Corn Popcorn Cones (via Brit + Co)
Another candy corn themed DIY, these popcorn and ice cream cone treats not only look amazing but sound delicious too. Definitely one to try out!

Don't forget - you can always impress your guests with your own version of candy glass, or perhaps make a batch of spooky cupcakes!
