Stila's ten shadow palettes have proven popular with bloggers in recent months with the most notable of the three variations being the In The Light palette which features a range of neutral, everyday colours with mixed finishes to rival the famous Urban Decay Naked palettes. The second palette named In The Garden also features some neutrals but includes bolder shades including blue and green again with a mix of finishes. Completing the set is the palette I'm swatching for you today; In The Know, an all mattes palette. As I've mentioned before I have sensitive eyes that don't tend to get on well with any shimmery powder shadows so when I discovered (via Arden's videos) that the In The Know palette was made up of all matte shades I popped it on my wish list.
I picked up In The Know via beautybay.com priced at £20 (usually £25) and although I haven't had a chance to play around with the palette much yet but I thought I would post some swatches for anyone else who's also been looking for an all mattes palette.
Ooh, that's actually really nice, I wasn't sure I'd like it until I saw them all swatched! Some lovely shades in this palette, it's just a shame I don't have a spare £20! :(
I really like the look of this palette! I do think it could rival the Naked Basics but I definitely prefer this one over UD, especially with the price! x
That's funny as when I saw the Basics palette I wished I'd known about it before buying this one as I thought it might be nicer! This does seem better for the money though as you get more colours and the eyeliner xx
This looks like a great alternative to the naked palettes, im definitely more of a fan of matte eyeshadows and have been looking to invest in something new :) xx

ReplyDeleteI don't own any Stila palette but I really should! These one looks really good and the eyeshadows look really pigmented xx

I'm not normally a matt eyeshadow fan, but I'm definitely coming around to them, this palette is very pretty, though I'm not sure about fire :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think I'll ever use Fire...I'm not too sure it belongs in a neutrals palette! x
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried any of their others but Stila is supposed to be great for eyeshadows in general :) x
