Revlon Lip Butters

Revlon lip Butters in Sugar Frosting & Peach Parfait £7.99 each

I know I'm the millionth one to blog about these and you're probably bored of hearing about them by now but I like them so much I just had to join in and write a post. I haven't actually read any posts on these particular shades yet so hopefully someone will find this useful!
For me these are pretty perfect as I don't really wear lipstick on a regular basis and tinted balms like the NYX Color Lipbalms are my favourite everyday lip products. I'd recently been looking into alternatives to those as it's a pain to have to order them online and not be able to swatch them first so when I heard about the Revlon Lip Butters I decided they would be worth a try.
I'd looked through lots of swatches online and settled on Peach Parfait being the colour for me (Emma Stone wearing it in a promotional certainly helped!) and luckily it was one of the few shades left in stock when I finally got to Boots. I ended up with Sugar Frosting as well purely because of the 3 for 2 deal but I'm glad I picked it up as it's the perfect everyday colour. The colours do apply very sheer, particularly the lighter shade but for me that's what makes them so wearable. They are a little more shimmery than I'm used to however I actually think that will be really nice for the Summer. They also have a subtle sweet vanilla scent which I love and the packaging is sleek but pretty.

Although these are like balms I would say they are a slightly thicker consistency and aren't either actively moisturising or drying. Overall I really like the Lip Butters and will definitely be looking at some of the other shades when the full range is back in stock!

Have you tried any of the Lip Butters? What do you think of them?
