When I need a new pair of jeans I always head to Topshop out of habit. My current collection consists of the Leigh, Baxter, Jamie and Tregging styles. There's even a pair of Pippas hanging around looking worse for wear (they were my all time favourites, bring back Pippas!!). These high-waisted Kristen style jeans have caught my eye before but when this pair were listed on the New In page today I decided to include them here. I've bought high-waisted jeans from Topshop years ago and I never wore them much. They were too loose around the ankles and looked more like a straight leg on me than a skinny- not very flattering! As perfect as the Kristens look in the picture I think I'd be better off with the beautiful green Jamies which are firmly on my wish list.

I love that triangles are appearing a lot more in the new jewellery collections. I actually picked up the black version of the F21 triangle earrings from last week's post yesterday. These gold triangle studs from Topshop are actually really reasonably priced too, I think they'ed make a nice edition to anyone's collection. The shoes were something else I spotted yesterday and whilst I do think it's rather predictable for nauticals to be back in S/S I do think these lace-ups would be really versatile. Maybe a way to embrace the trend without going full on nautical. I feel like the nautical fashion theme is becoming a little boring but with the only competition coming in the form of neons, pastels and tropical prints, and since I can't pull of pastels very well, it's looking like the best of the bunch.

I've spent my Wednesday fixing my emails, trying to resolve the problem I've had with uploading photos to my shop, thinking about when to do a giveaway, drafting posts including a rather long one on Emma Stone's Red Carpet style and finally rambling about clothes here. If you follow me on Twitter you may have seen me mention that I was going shopping at Westfield yesterday, I wasn't overly impressed with it in the end. My mum did let me browse the Mulberry store too, of course after telling me I wasn't to buy anything, but just for the record the khaki Harriet and the oak Tillie are so perfect up close. Anyway, I didn't buy much but I did order my new TV which arrives next week!
