Week In Photos 7.

Bought all three Taylor Swift albums for my new ipod, but was disappointed to find the lyric 'you won't mind if I say' in Picture To Burn rather than the 'I'll tell mine you're gay' I've been hearing for months on the non-album version I had / As I mentioned yesterday I've been packaging things for my shop! / I've also been embracing 'nude' nails this week with H&M's Summer Fresh, I'd actually never worn this look before but I'm now on the lookout for a more-pinky-less-peachy nude. Any recommendations? / Been watching lots of Big Bang Theory series 2, I watch this show far too much... / I received some more pendants in the post after I was sent the wrong ones last week / Amazing rhubarb, raspberry and apple crumble / I had another go at making a Deathly Hallows pendant and it's definitely an improvement on my first attempt. I'm actually wearing it today! & I'm hoping to be selling these at some point too / Finally....some more Kinder egg toys, seriously those eggs are addictive!

Sunday DIY: Packaging for the Shop

Today's Sunday DIY is once again related to the shop I'm intending to open in the next week or so. I've finally set myself up with a Paypal account but I'm still on the fence about what to actually call my shop. This weekend I've been doing some more making, but also beginning to get the things I had previously made ready to be sent out.  I've tried to keep the packaging simple to keep the cost down for everyone, but hopefully you'll still think it looks cute. I've decided that I will be doing a giveaway, hopefully this week, I need to buy some padded envelopes first! haha
I'll also be introducing the 'celebrity' style inspiration posts as a regular thing after your responses to my post on Emma Watson yesterday. I've already prepared a few more including Michelle Williams, Rachel Bilson & Taylor Swift. Anyway I hope you guys like what you see, and please do check back soon for the giveaway!

1504.

All taken in 2010, various cameras.

It's been forever since I've done a photography post so I thought it was about time even though it's a bit of a random one. I still have a film I need to get developed so I'll probably do that next week and then I'll hopefully have a few more to post. Anyway I hope you like these ones!
Also, I may actually be setting up my shop this weekend as I have some free time, fingers crossed it works out!

- For just £1 I couldn't resist buying another one of these rings, and painting it of course!
- Took a trip to Cambridge with the Uni girls
- As you may have seen I bought myself a Pandora bracelet this week
- Pretty blue of the evening sky on Saturday
- Contemplating placing an order for Seche Vite topcoat & Xen-Tan Transform...

Sunday DIY: Phone Charms

(These aren't finished, I'm adding beads and things to them as well!)
I've been making these today along with a few other things ready for opening my shop! Sorry I haven't posted more interesting DIY's recently but I've been busy making things to sell.
In other news, I'm experiencing total hair envy looking at this. I mean my hair is that length, but it's definitely not that soft!

A Couple of Treats.

As you can see, this week I decided to treat myself to a couple of things! I've recently only really been buying sale items and taking advantage of offers and discounts so these are my two little treats.
I finally decided to get a Pandora bracelet, I'd been looking at them for a while but wasn't sure if they would fit me or not. I have quite thin wrists so I don't usually wear bracelets, I've always wanted a nice set of bangles but they all seem to just fall off when I put my arms down haha. I already knew that the Pandora bracelets were available in different sizes but one of my friends bought one recently and let me try it on so I was sure it would fit! I wasn't sure what colour to go for, I quite liked the grey and pink, but as you observant people may have noticed I have an obsession with tan accessories so I chose to stick by that.
I also bought myself a new ipod, something I probably should have done a while ago. I've had my 80GB classic for over three years now but have had various problems with it and although it is a good mirror, I thought it was time for a change. I had wanted to get another classic but nowadays they have 160GB and I really never even needed the 80GB I already had.  So, after years of carrying around thousands and thousands of songs I never listen to I've gone for an 8GB nano and I'm planning to be very selective with my song choices! Plus, I can clip this onto my bag :)
& yes, I know my colour choice is extremely boring!

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine!

Week In Photos 5.

-Nails: Barry M Pink Iridescent layered over Models Own Champagne. This look is unusual for me, I don't tend to go for such girly shades, but I actually quite like it.
- New Summer dress from H&M Kids (£5.99 I think!)
- Made over 200 charm bracelets this weekend, it's very addictive.
- Current rental: Shutter Island, look out for this in my April Film Round Up at the end of the month.
- M&S kids ready meals, oh how I wish this one had existed when I was at Uni!
- The Grey's Anatomy Music Event was on this week, very surreal. I knew I wasn't going to like it but I was still really looking forward to see how they made it work.
- Sawyer tried to eat my Blackberry & fought the bars on his hutch for some Parsley.
- We've been collecting Kinder egg toys at work, I have no idea why but it's very addictive. Plus the chocolate is SO good.
- Finally got around to putting these in the oven, my Deathly Hallows pendant got very misshapen.
- Some of the jewellery making supplies I ordered.
- Biore pore strips are on offer at Boots at the moment, I've been wanting to try these for a while but I'm scared haha.

Sunday DIY: Lego Necklace

This one is actually a bit of a cheat, I made it about 5 years ago! I have been wearing it a lot recently though and I thought it would make a good Sunday DIY. Obviously it doesn't have to be a Lego skeleton, I just thought he was quite cute. I am planning to make more of these using different lego characters and will probably be selling them once I get my shop going.
I've spent the last couple of days purchasing more jewellery making supplies, making some bracelets and writing up all my costs so far! Now I just need to buy some packaging, set myself up Paypal and the shop itself. I did also get around to making necklaces similar to the one in my last Weekly Style post, but have annoyingly run out of chain.
I hope that you guys are going to like my creations!
