Just a quick post today on Rimmel's Matte Topcoat.
I've been wanting to get my hands on some of the OPI Matte polishes for some time now, but haven't been able to find anywhere that stocks them in the UK, so when I heard about this topcoat I decided it was worth a try. I've had it sitting in my cupboard for a few weeks now, but have only just found time to try it out.

I'm impressed by this product, it does exactly what it says and was reasonably priced in comparison to the OPI matte polishes.
I also purchased one of Topshop's current season polishes last week. I only have one other polish from Topshop (Parma Violet) as I think they are a little expensive when you can find very similar colours from other brands such as Barry M.
When I saw the new collection on the Topshop website I just scrolled past and didn't think anything of it. However when I saw this in the store I had to buy it!
I expected this polish to be a shimmery grey (which it is indoors) but once the light hits it it has a lovely khaki hint to it which I love. I think at £6 it was quite expensive but it's a nice wintery shade and it'll probably get a lot of wear over the next few months.

On a side note, I'm still trying to decide what it is that I really want to post on this blog. I've added a Flickr box at the side and I may do a photography post this week and see how it goes...
